Algerian President to Visit Iran Saturday

A01528083.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is slated to arrive here in Tehran on Saturday.

The visit will take place at the invitation of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and following a visit conducted by the Iranian President in August.2007, a senior diplomatic official serving in Algeria, said.

The source said that Bouteflika will reach Iran, from China, where he will attend the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games that will take place in Beijing, while a delegation composed of 6 Ministers will arrive in Tehran by Saturday.
The visit will be Bouteflika’s second to Iran since he took power in April 1999. The first one reaches back to October 2003, which was later reciprocated by the then Iranian President, Mohammad Khatami.
