Algerian Bouteflika emphasizes Islamic countries unity

TEHRAN, (ISNA)-Algeria’s president Abdul- Aziz Bouteflika and foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki conferred economy, industry, energy and major international issues on Monday.

Iran has made outstanding progresses in different fields and Algeria welcomes the expansion of ties with Iran, Bouteflika said.

Also while condemning the International Criminal Tribunal arrest warrant against Sudanese president he said that it is necessary for Islamic countries to be unified.

Mottaki for his part noted that the two countries’ presidents’ determination has prepared the ground for widening the prospects of cooperation.

He also asserted that integrated cooperation of the world of Islam in defining political and international approaches is an important and viable way to increase mutual understanding in the global community.
