Jalili and Barham Saleh discuss bilateral ties

TEHRAN, (ISNA)-Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili meeting Iraq’s deputy prime minister Barham Saleh declared using potentials of the countries will be the best channel to promote regional cooperation.

Also the head of Iran’s supreme national security council secretary said establishing peace and stability in Iraq is a mandate for expanding ties with other countries.

Barham Saleh for his part outlined recent developments in Iraq and expressed satisfaction over the improved security process paving the way for putting Tehran-Baghdad agreements into action.

He also said Iraqi officials are interested in expanding contacts with Iran.

According to Barham Saleh rich resources of the two neighboring states can be best used to bring benefits to all Middle Eastern countries
