Mottaki meets Iraqi PM deputy

TEHRAN, (ISNA)-Iran’s foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Iraqi deputy prime minister Barham Saleh discussed regional issues and ways to promote bilateral ties.

Mottaki voiced satisfaction with the process of mounting bilateral ties and enhanced security condition in the war-torn country.

He also expressed hope the extent of commercial exchanges would be more promoted.

Barham Saleh for his part said his country seeks to implement letters of understanding signed during Iran’s president trip to Iraq.

He also provided Mottaki with a report over Iraq’s recent condition.
