Iran willing to widen energy cooperation with Latin America

TEHRAN, (ISNA)-Iran hopes to expand energy cooperation with the Latin American countries.

Iran’s president adviser Samare Hashemi who was in Paraguay to attend in the sworn-in ceremony of its new president Fernando Lugo said Iran would widen ties with Latin American countries and would aid them with energy exploration.

He emphasized Iran is willing to fulfill energy cooperation with countries such as Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador.

Hashemi has also met with the new Paraguay’s government and discussed expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
