Iranian Envoy Meets Lebanese FM

196338.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s Charge d’affaires in Lebanon conferred with Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh on Friday.

“The aim of the meeting was to bring views closer to each other, consultation on international issues and considering ways to strengthen mutual cooperation between the two countries after establishment of National Unity government in Lebanon,” IRNA quoted Mojtaba Ferdowsipour as saying following the meeting.

Ferdowsipour also submitted Mottaki’s felicitation message to his Lebanese counterpart for his reappointment as foreign minister as well as appreciation for his participation in the Non-Aligned Movement conference in Tehran.

The Iranian diplomat also expressed hope that the Lebanese foreign minister would pay a visit to Tehran for expansion of bilateral ties and implementation of the existing agreements between the two sides.
