TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad criticized Israel for not pursuing peaceful dialogue to resolve regional disputes and said it only understands the language of gun.
In a meeting with Farouk Kaddoumi, the political bureau chief of the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s (PLO) Political Bureau, Ahmadinejad said Tuesday Israel has been pursuing “aggression, violence, and atrocities in the region”.
He called the Israeli regime a criminal, corrupt and a government seeking to occupy others’ regions.
“Resistance movement is the only possible way to counter such regime,” he said and urged all Palestinian groups “to reinforce their unity to help the resistance movement succeed”.
Briefing Ahmadinejad on the latest developments in the occupied lands, Kaddoumi said that the Palestine resistance movement was the only way for liberation of the occupied territories.
The PLO official appreciated Iran’s humanitarian support for the Palestinian people.
