Jannati told Al-Qabas that all the security forces in Iran – including the Navy and Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) – were involved in the search operations and they have not found anything that could lead to Al-Fadhala’s whereabouts.

Commenting on reports about the alleged arrest of Al-Fadhala on July 7, Jannati said that Iran had forwarded a letter to Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry affirming that the missing Kuwaiti was not detained in any of the Iranian prisons.
