Ecuador Calls for Mining Cooperation with Iran

A00461181.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Ecuador’s Minister of Mines and Petroleum Galo Chiriboga Zambrano on Saturday called for Iran-Ecuador petrochemical, gas and oil cooperation.

He told in Assalouyeh that his country has seized the opportunity to promote cooperation with the Iranian oil companies.

He said that country is keen on further cooperation with Iran.

The Ecuadorian mines minister hoped that the two sides will develop technical and educational cooperation on oil sector.

Referring to his meeting with Iranian Oil Minister Gholam Hossein Nozari during OPEC meeting in Vienna, he said that Ecuador is determined to ink an agreement on oil with Iran, the Islamic republic news agency reported.

The Ecuadorian minister of mines along with his deputies visited several refineries and petrochemical complexes in the Assalouyeh region.
