TEHRAN (FNA)- Biblio-Globus book store in Moscow will establish a section providing books about Iran in Persian and Russian in near future.
Iran’s cultural attaché in Moscow Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman paid a visit to the Biblio-Globus bookstore in Moscow on September 12.
Torkaman and the bookstore managers came to an agreement based on Iran’s suggestion to establish a section in the bookstore that is dedicated to Iran.
The bookstore is eager to participate actively in the next edition of the Tehran International Book Fair, Biblio-Globus international manager Ms. Alexandrovna said during the meeting, Tehran Times reported.
She went on to say that the bookstore sells more than 20,000 volumes daily and over 65% of its costumers are below age 29.
The bookstore usually invites popular personalities to unveil books written by them during a ceremony. In May 2008, First Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev attended the presentation of his book “Understanding Perestroyka” in Biblio-Globus bookstore.
Being one of the finest in Moscow, the bookstore was established in 1957. Naturally, all the Russian bestsellers are at Biblio-Globus but also there is a good selection of books in foreign languages.
