TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the idols of the modern era are collapsing right now.
“The world is on the eve of big developments. The era of powers that had weapons and used force is nearing its end,” Ahmadinejad said Friday while speaking to reporters upon his arrival from New York, where he attended the 63rd annual session of the UN General Assembly.
“Nearly all nations and most of the governments oppose the bullying of these powers on the international arena.
“The arrogance has launched massive propaganda to justify the acts of the US and Israel. It still believes that they are two holy regimes,” press tv quoted him as saying.
The President noted that even Americans do not accept such ideas any more.
“The path and ideals of the Iranian nation are an appropriate alternate for international demands, he concluded.
President Ahmadinejad delivered a speech at the 63rd annual session of the UN General Assembly on September 23 on global issues.
During his visit, he participated in numerous public engagements, including meetings with students, anti-war groups and broadcasters, as well as heads of state attending the UN gathering.
