Iran to Privatize 20 Petrochemical Companies

Amongst the ones which are wholly privatized include Carbon Iran, Farabi, Abadan, Kharg, Isfahan, Arak, Shiraz, Razi and Polika Karaj.

However, the NPC considered more companies to be privatized should the Iran Privatization Organization (IPO) approve the transfer of other petrochemical companies as a single block or holding companies.

52 of the 81 subsidiaries of the NPC have already been semi-privatized.
