Ossetians kidnap six Georgians

Ossetians have abducted six ethnic Georgians from the villages of Zerti, Gori district. The men went to the forest for fire wood at 4pm yesterday and the separatist gunmen must have kidnapped them a few hours later.The villagers began to search for them from 10 pm but only found their vehicle and tools five kilometers away from the village. The cell phones of the abducted men were out of the coverage area until this morning. One of them gave a call to his relative and informed about the kidnapping. He said the abductors were demanding release of several separatist gangsters for their freedom. Georgian police confirm that they arrested two Ossetian gunmen two days ago.
