Scandal of the year is absence of mandate holder from national holiday: Boyko Borisov

Sofia. It is scandalous that the mandate holder does not attend the ceremonies commemorating 131st anniversary of Bulgaria’s liberation, Sofia Mayor and leader of Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov said.

“I wonder whether the President and Prime Minister noticed that the mandate holder is absent on today’s holiday and whether they have thought about who they gave mandate to to form a government and who they form a coalition with,” Borisov said.

He described this behavior as “the scandal of the year.”

It is Movement for Rights and Freedoms that was given the mandate to form Bulgaria’s incumbent government.
