Sofia. Three projects, which are EU’s main interest has been worked out by the MInistryr of Transport, head of the National Transport Policy Directorate with the Ministry of Transport Dimitar Savov said.
“Projects, which are EU’s main interest, will be definitely financed under EU funds. There are three projects like that in Bulgaria: “Improving navigation along Danube river”, Modernization of railway line Vidin-Sofia-Kulata and “Construction of Struma highway /Sofia-Kulata/.”
“The preparation of the tree projects is under way. Building of the new bridge at Vidin and Kalafat is also EU priority,” Dimitar Savov said.
As an answer to the question, which are the main priorities on which the Ministry of Transport has been worked out, Dimitar Savov said”
“The first group is the main interest of the EU and will be definitely financed under EU funds. There are three projects like that in Bulgaria: “Improving navigation along Danube river”, Modernization of railway line Vidin-Sofia-Kulata and “Construction of Struma highway /Sofia-Kulata/.”
The second group, which connects TEN-T with neighbor countries and regions at Bulgaria’s territory covers projects along corridor VIII’s roads /Gushevo-Sofia-Plovdiv-Burgas/Varna/ and X /Kalotina- Plovdiv-Svilengrad/.
