Two Turkish soldiers were killed when their helicopter crashed in central Turkey on Saturday, the state-run Anatolian news agency said.
The Sikorsky helicopter was travelling from Malatya in eastern Turkey to the capital Ankara when it went down in Kayseri province about 300 km (186 miles) from its destination, the agency said, quoting the provincial governor, Mevlut Bilici.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
Ground control lost contact with the helicopter about 11:15 a.m. (0915 GMT), Bilici said. The two lieutenants on board were believed to have been killed instantly.
