The document enshrining last year’s Declaration of Independence by Kosovo is to go on show at a museum as Kosovo prepares for its Liberation Day.
The Declaration of Independence is to be positioned in an exhibition entitled “Kosovo throughout the centuries.”
The exhibition is to depict Kosovo’s history since the Ottoman occupation until the Declaration of Independence from Serbia last year.
“The population is keen to see the Declaration of Independence and therefore we are to make it public on June 12, the Liberation Day,” said the exhibition’s director, Arber Hadri.
On June 12 1999, NATO forces entered Kosovo after a 78 day bombing campaign against Serbia when Belgrade was accused of ethnic cleansing and atrocities against Kosovo’s predominately ethnic Albanian population.
