Croatia and Kosovo Sign Cooperation Deal

resizer2Inter-parliamentary relations have been agreed between Kosovo and Croatia during a two-day visit to Zagreb by Kosovo’s speaker of parliament Jakup Krasniqi.

Krasniqi met his counterpart, Croatian Parliament speaker Luka Bebic, on Wednesday. He thanked Croatia for its recognition of Kosovo’s independence and support for the country’s development.

The two politicians agreed to create a joint memorandum for cooperation between the two parliaments, along with the formation of a parliamentary group of friendship.

Bebic said Croatia would share its experience in the EU integration process with Kosovo.

He also said that Croatia wanted to mediate between the EU and the other countries in south east Europe.
