SKOPJE
Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu has arrived in Macedonia, where he is on an unofficial visit. He was invited by Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov. The visit is seen as improvement of relations, since Sejdiu in June canceled his trip to Skopje, unhappy that Ivanov did not plan to receive him with full honors reserved for others.
Sejdiu was also not invited to Ivanov’s inauguration in May.Albanian President Bamir Topi is also in Ohrid. Sejdiu’s visit was agreed on last month in Albania when Topi and Ivanov met. That meeting in Albania also saw invitations dispatched to the presidents of Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia, but they never confirmed their attendance.
