Montenegro Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic is scheduled to meet in Washington D.C. on Wednesday with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Montenegrin Ambassador to Washington Miodrag Vlahovic confirmed the upcoming visit during his three-day trip to the US.
“The schedule of the visit is intensive, and all our interlocutors have expressed their interest in meeting with members of the Montenegrin delegation and providing support to Montenegro on its path towards Euro-Atlantic structures,” Tanjug news agency quoted Vlahovic as saying.
Besides Djukanovic, the Montenegrin delegation on the three-day U.S. tour includes the country’s foreign and finance ministers, Milan Rocen and Igor Luksic, respectively. The delegation will take part in talks in the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund, IMF, World Bank and the Centre for International Strategic Studies.
Djukanovic is also scheduled to hold a lecture at John Hopkins University on Montenegro’s integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
