Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor made an unannounced visit to Serbia to meet with President Boris Tadić.
One of the topics of the informal, working meeting between the two is expected to be the ratification of the social agreement between Slovenia and Serbia.
After a political agreement was reached on the highest level on the social agreement, it was agreed that the countries would ratify it by the end of last year.
Serbia held up its end of the promise and the Serbian parliament ratified the agreement.
However, Slovenia has yet to ratify the social agreement with Serbia, and since the draft has yet to arrive on the agenda of the Slovenian government, the parliament will not be able to ratify the agreement before March.
