Greek PM visits Moscow, discusses South Stream

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou said in Moscow on Tuesday that his country’s economic woes will not negatively affect implementation of the South Stream gas pipeline.

Papandreou also declared that the current situation in Greece will have a positive effect on relations with Russia. Putin, in turn, downplayed Greece’s economic problems, assuring Papandreou that the South Stream pipeline would boost Greek revenues.
