Spain will not recognize Kosovo’s independence

Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos said that Spain won’t recognize Kosovo’s independence.

He said that Spain won’t bring that kind of decision until UN resolution is adopted or Belgrade and Pristina reach an agreement.

Moratinos said that the security, peace and stability at the Balkans is due to the decision made by the five EU countries not to recognize Kosovo.

Kosovo’s independence has been recognized by 60 countries from the 192 UN member states and Spain is among the majority.
