The Office of the High Representative (OHR) said the final RS government conclusions represent another outrageous attempt to deny the Srebrenica genocide.
OHR said that the government in Banja Luka deliberately distorted determined historical and legal facts by presenting wrong and false information with the intention of concealing the truth.
“Even though there have always been confirmed extremists who tried to deny genocide, nothing can change facts about the events in Srebrenica in July 1995,” the statement adds.
The statement points out that the conclusions of the current RS government, under the leadership of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNDS), discredits RS in the country and abroad.
The RS government assigned the authorized bodies, primarily the Republic center for war crimes research, to carry out certain activities in order to determine the exact number of killed Bosniaks in July 1995, taking into account various information, including the one of the Research and Documentation Center in Sarajevo that 500 Srebrenica inhabitants were found alive, and they are listed as missing.
