Croatian Foreign Minister: The negotiations with EU could be concluded until the end of the year

Croatia could end its pre-accession talks with EU before the end of the year, Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Jandroković announced. Jandroković also pointed that he expected the report of Serge Brammertz, Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, to allow Croatia to open 23rd pre-accession chapter for negotiations with the EU.

“It is realistic to think that the negotiations will continue before the end of the year. Croatia will do everything in its power to end the pre-accession talks this year,” Jandroković explained.
