Kosovo President says Kosovo could apply for UN membership next year

Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu suggests that Kosovo could apply for UN membership in 2011. Kosovo’s parliament adopted a declaration Friday hailing the ICJ’s opinion and the EU’s suggestion for talks with Serbia on technical issues. The lawmakers, however, ruled out any discussions on Kosovo’s status.
