Georgia will introduce a visa-free travel regime for Russians living in the North Caucasus, Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said on Monday, October 11. The new rules will apply to the residents of North Ossetia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachayevo-Cherkessia, Adygeya, and other republics in the North Caucasus neighbouring on Georgia.
Kalandadze said the residents of these Russian republics would be able to enter Georgia without visas in about two weeks and stay in the country for 90 days.
