Priština Mayor Isa Mustafa was appointed new president of the Democratic League of Kosovo at the party’s 7th election assembly on Sunday. Mustafa won by 235 of the total 395 votes, while the other party president candidate, Fatmir Sejdiju earned 124 assembly delegate votes.
Over the past year, Mustafa became widely known as one of the most vociferous critics of the Kosovo government. On Sunday, he did not fail to live up to such reputation and said that the government in Priština “stands for all the things that cannot bring any good to Kosovo”.
New party leader called on all party members who had left the party to return and help it win in the upcoming elections.
