Serbian war crimes prosecutor Vladimir Vukčević expressed expectation that Serge Brammertz’s report on Serbia’s cooperation will be positive.
The chief Hague prosecutor was in Belgrade on Monday, and his report is due before the UN Security Council in December.
Vukčević said that Brammertz, who visited Belgrade on Monday in scope of preparing a six-month report on the cooperation between the countries of the region and the Hague, was informed about the activities of the War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office and the current situation in the regional judicial cooperation.
The prosecutor also said that his office is preparing to issue war crimes indictments for crimes committed in Bosnia and Croatia, and also in the territory of Kosovo.
