Early results of the Kosovo elections show the party of Hashim Thaci has the lead, while Serb parties that participated accuse each other.
The Priština-based Gani Bobi Institute said late on Sunday that Thaci’s Democratic Party of Kosovo had picked up 31 percent of the vote, followed by Isa Mustafa’s Democratic Alliance of Kosovo with 25 percent, and Albin Kurti’s Self-Determination movement with 16 percent of total votes.
Ramush Haradinaj’s Alliance for the Future of Kosovo took 12.5 percent of the vote, while Bexhet Pacoli’s Alliance for a New Kosovo won 6.5 percent of the vote.
