Bosnia arrested war crimes suspect in Serbia

Bosnian police have arrested Croatian citizen Tihomir Purdi, who is wanted in Serbia on war crimes charges. Purdi was arrested on an Interpol warrant on charges of “war crimes against the weak and wounded”.

Serbia now has 18 days to provide the necessary paperwork to request Purdi’s extradition, during which time he will be held in custody in Bosnia.
