Spain supports Serbia’s EU path

Spanish Foreign Minister Trinidad Jimenez assured visiting Serbian counterpart Vuk Jeremic of Spain’s support for Serbia’s EU bid after their meeting in Madrid. Two countries will continue to co-operate on all issues related to peace and stability in the Western Balkans and the EU integration process.

Jimenez voiced support for the upcoming dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and reiterated that Spain will not recognise Kosovo’s independence.
