European Union politicians attending a blue- ribbon conference in Moldova on Wednesday praised the country’s plans to become a member state.
‘Moldova has done a great deal to win an excellent reputation abroad during an extremely difficult period, and not many countries could have done this,’ said Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Tusk and other senior European officials and academics were in Chisinau to attend a European Integration conference organized by Moldova’s ruling coalition.
Former Polish President Aleksander Kwazniewski echoed Tusk, saying during conference discussions, ‘Poland supports Molodva’s European integration.’
