Montenegro agrees to extradite war crimes suspect to Serbia

The justice ministry has approved Milojko Nikolic’s extradition to Serbia, media reported on Friday (April 1st). A former member of a Serb paramilitary group and a member of “The Jackals” paramilitary unit suspected of war crimes committed during the Kosovo conflict. He is suspected of taking part in the 1999 killing of 44 Albanian civilians in the Kosovo village of Cuska. Nikolic was detained in December based on an arrest warrant issued by Belgrade.
