Georgia expects the EU to resolve conflicts in the former Soviet space

Georgia expects the European Union to develop new plans to resolve conflicts in the former Soviet space, including in Georgia, the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said.

She said that the new proposals will make it impossible for the situation to be ignored.

“All the civilized nations name this situation by its name – occupation,” Kalandadze said.

The European Parliament called on its members to increase involvement in conflict resolution.
