Brammertz submits report on Serbia

Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz forwarded his report on Serbia’s cooperation with the tribunal to the UN on Tuesday.

He is to address the UN Security Council on June 6.

Swinnen did not want to comment on the contents of the report, nor to compare it to the one delivered in December 2010.

Asked if this is the last report that the chief prosecutor will forward to the UN before the European Commission delivers its opinion on Serbia’s candidacy, Swinnen said that the next report would be submitted to the UN in mid-November.
