Serbian President to meet Herman Van Rompuy

President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy will meet Serbian President Boris Tadić in Brussels on June 6.

Tadić and Rompuy will have talks on the very same day when ICTY Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz is due to present his semi-annual report on cooperation of Serbia and other regional countries with that tribunal.

Brammertz’s opinion has until now been considered as highly important for the EU’s decision on Serbia’s candidacy bid, and possibly the date for commencement of the accession talks.
