Serbian President Boris Tadić believes the Dutch parliament and countries that have not ratified the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) will do so soon.
“There should be no drama about this, the Dutch parliament said that it was waiting for its government to issue its official stand,” he pointed out.
Tadić pointed out that Serbia should not be discouraged by every slightly unfavorable information and recalled that the country’s top goal was to obtain the EU candidate status, while an even more important aim was to get the date of accession talks set after which, as he said, there can be no going back.
