UN Security Council to hold consultations on Kosovo

The UN Security Council is expected to hold consultations behind closed doors on Thursday afternoon and debate the current situation in Kosovo.

“The Security Council has decided to hold consultations behind closed doors on July 28, when the UN Secretariat will brief the council member countries on the current situation in Kosovo”.

Serbia requested a urgent session of the Security Council after the government in Priština sent its police units to take over administrative line checkpoints in the Serb-dominated north.
