Turkish FM to visit Balkan countries next week

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu is set to embark on a nine-day tour in four Balkan countries.

Kosovo will be Davutoğlu’s first stop, where he will stay from Aug. 26-28 before heading off to Bosnia and Herzegovina for another two-day visit between Aug. 29 and 30 during which he will perform prayers with Bosnians on Aug. 30, the first day of Eid Ul-Fitr, the traditional celebration that concludes the month-long fasting of Ramadan.

On Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, Davutoğlu will be in the Romanian capital of Bucharest for an official visit and on Sept. 2, Davutoğlu will be in Belgrade for a one-day visit.
