Serbia says EU is not willing to discuss customs in North Kosovo

The next round of talks between Belgrade and Pristina scheduled for next Wednesday will take place most probably.

Belgrade keeps on insisting on a special status for North Kosovo. However, Brussels thinks it is impossible to give Kosovo a special status, but in future it might become something like an EU protectorate. The EU and Kosovan authorities believe Kosovan customs officers’ work at border checkpoint was agreed when the issue of Kosovan customs seal was settled and they consider the talks about this issue finished.
