Romanian police officers will leave Kosovo by the end of this year

Bucharest will withdraw its police officers from Kosovo by the end of this year following the completion of their tour of duty.

Romania’s Supreme Council of National Defence, CSAT, has decided that the 178 police officers currently mandated to be present in Kosovo will be withdrawn by the end of this year.

“The police contingent will be withdrawn when their tour of duty ends in December. The details of the withdrawal will be determined together with our European partners,” a statement from the CSAT revealed. No further details were offered.
