EC report on Serbia finished, except the part that refers to Kosovo

European Commission (EC) report on Serbia has already been written and the Commission is now working out some minor details.

The only part that is unfinished is the one that refers to Kosovo.

Everything that refers to economic and social reforms has been finished, and the only part that is still open is the one that refers to northern Kosovo. According to Serbian authorities’ estimates, the part on Kosovo will remain open until October 12 when the report is scheduled to be published.

The report will then be forwarded to all EU member states which will voice their opinion by December 9 when Brussels will formally announce whether Serbia will get the EU candidate status.

According to announcements so far, Serbia will get the EU candidate status, the Serbian government has said.
