EU facilitator and Serbian Minister for Kosovo agreed that dialogue most continue soon

Serbian Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanović said Friday he and EU facilitator Robert Cooper agreed that the dialogue needed to continue as soon as possible.

He added and that an independent investigation into the incidents at the Jarinje administrative crossing was necessary.

According to him, it was also agreed that international institutions in Kosovo, primarily KFOR and EULEX, must maintain contact with local Serbs.

It was also pointed out that what occurred at Jarinje must not happen again, and that an independent investigation into the events was necessary.

Bogdanović stressed that the Kosovo Serbs and their fight must not be criminalized.

The EU facilitator will also meet with Belgrade team chief Borislav Stefanović and Interior Minister Ivica Dačić.
