Macedonian FM sends letter to EU counterparts for starting the accession talks

Macedonia launched a lobbying campaign in the EU, aiming at receiving a date for starting the EU accession talks.

Foreign Minister Nikola Popovski has sent a letter to his EU counterparts asking them to be upright and not to follow the practice set by Athens.

According to Popovski, the EU should found a model that will allow Macedonia start the accession talks despite Greece’s disagreement due to the name row.
