The Belgrade-Priština talks will continue on November 30, shortly before the European Council is scheduled to decide on Serbia’s EU candidate status.
The two-day talks that ended on Tuesday in Brussels yielded results regarding mutual recognition of university diplomas, which is not the case with the administrative crossings.
EU facilitator Robert Cooper believes that results in key issues have been reached.
“This was the first meeting since September and it was a good meeting. It did not produce as many results as I hoped but we reached an essential progress in numerous areas and achieved results in the main areas. I hope that starting from next year everybody who has a Belgrade and Priština university diploma will be able to use it for further education or employment in the other capital,” Cooper stressed.
