Bosnia not decided yet on support for Serbian FM for UNGA

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić’s bid for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) chairman has not yet been debated by officials in Sarajevo.

This is according to Bosnia-Herzegovina Assistant Foreign Minister Ana Trišić-Babić.

“Given that Lithuania also has a candidate, the Bosnia-Herzegovina Foreign Ministry should issue an official document regarding the matter and submit it to the Presidency”, she said.

She pointed out that the Ministry should also weigh between where Serbia had or had not supported Bosnia-Herzegovina, adding that the body would most likely give a recommendation to the Presidency for whom to vote.
