Montenegro will join South Stream project

Gazprom and Montenegro have decided to draft technical and economic justification for the construction of a section from the South Stream gas pipeline project in Montenegro.

The two sides discussed the technical abilities and prospects for Montenegro to join the project, the company said in the statement.

Montenegro said it was interested in the project in October last year, but its participation was not specified.
