EU leadears to examine Serbia’s candidacy status within two weeks

European leaders are to examine Serbia’s EU membership candidacy in two weeks but it is still unclear how much longer the negotiations between Belgrade and Kosovo will continue.

To become a EU member state Serbia should reach an agreement on the regional presentation of Kosovo. The government has said that the next round of the negotiations is being prepared at the moment but it was still unclear when exactly the talks were going to be held.
