Having met with Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski in Skopje, the UN envoy in the Greek-Macedonian name issue Matthew Nimetz said he did not suggest a new solution to the name dispute.
“I suggest a solution, when I think the time for it has come,” said Nimetz.
Asked whether the negotiations concern identity as well, the UN envoy noted they had to do with the country’s name.
On Monday Nimetz met with the Macedonian state leaders in Skopje.
